Staff Rooms

Staff rooms will be assigned upon your arrival.

Before your departure, the room may be inspected by a supervisor or reception. The room is expected to be handed over clean and tidy.

A CHF 50.– fee for final cleaning will be deducted from your last salary.

Additional charges may apply for damages or significant dirtiness.

Bed linen and towels are provided, but cleaning them is your responsibility. A washing machine is available in the staff laundry room. However, you must bring your own detergent.

An ironing board is available on the 5th floor.

Employee Entrance and Exit

Whenever possible, please use the delivery entrance on the basement level.

The door is generally open from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Before and after these hours, access is granted via a code.

The main hotel entrance is also open between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM. The access code is 3718. This code is confidential and must not be shared.

Parking and Garage

If you arrive by car and need a parking space, please inform the management so a parking spot can be assigned to you.

Valuables

Valuables can be stored in the safe at reception. The hotel assumes no liability for lost or stolen items of any kind.

Use of Staff Areas

Keep staff rooms and communal areas clean at all times.

Please avoid hanging laundry from windows.

Meals

Meals are offered in the staff dining room at set times.

Breakfast: Staff are responsible for organizing their own breakfast, which includes bread, butter, jam, tea, and coffee. Preparation takes place in the dining room office, but meals should be eaten in the staff dining room.

Lunch: Depending on the shift schedule, at 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM.

Dinner: At 5:00 PM or 5:30 PM.

Meal Allowances

Meals can be consumed according to the agreed meal allowance.

With full allowance (full board), breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included (CHF 378.00 per month).

With individual agreements, only the meals included in the allowance may be consumed, such as one main meal per day (e.g., CHF 210.00 per month).

Drinks are included in the meal allowance.

Without a meal allowance:

Employees without meal allowances are not permitted to use hotel food supplies. Personal food must be arranged independently.

A flat-rate deduction of CHF 3.00 per day is charged for beverages (CHF 63.00 per month), which includes coffee, tea, water, and soft drinks in the staff area.

ALCOHOL DURING WORK HOURS IS NOT PERMITTED.

Consideration in Staff Areas

Noise control:

Avoid loud conversations, slamming doors, and playing music in staff rooms, particularly during evening and nighttime quiet hours.

Keep windows closed if noise might disturb others outside.

Guest satisfaction: Complaints from guests about noise or inappropriate behavior may have consequences. Your consideration significantly contributes to a positive atmosphere.

Energy Use

Use energy sparingly.

Turn off lights and devices when not in use.

Do not leave faucets running, and avoid leaving windows unnecessarily open to prevent energy waste and frost damage during winter.
