Accommodation and Meals
Staff Rooms
Staff rooms will be assigned upon your arrival.
Before your departure, the room may be inspected by a supervisor or by the reception. The room must be handed over clean and tidy.
A fee of CHF 50.– for the final cleaning will be deducted from your last salary.
In case of damage or excessive dirt, additional costs may apply.
Bed linen and towels are provided, but you are responsible for washing them yourself.
A washing machine is available in the staff laundry room; please bring your own detergent.
An ironing board is available on the 5th floor.
Staff Entrance and Exit
Whenever possible, please use the supplier/staff entrance on the basement level (UG).
The door is normally open from 07:00 to 21:00. Outside these hours, access is granted via code.
The main hotel entrance is also open from 07:00 to 21:00.
The access code is 3579.
This code is confidential and must not be shared.
Parking and Garage
If you arrive by car and require a parking space, please inform the management so that we can assign you one.
Valuables
Valuables can be deposited in the safe at reception.
The hotel assumes no liability for lost or stolen items of any kind.
Use of Staff Rooms and Common Areas
Please keep the staff rooms and all shared areas clean at all times.
Do not hang laundry out of the windows.
Meals
Meals are served in the kitchen and must be taken in the staff dining room at the designated times.
Breakfast:
The organization of breakfast (bread, butter, jam, cold cuts, cheese, cereals, orange juice, tea and coffee) is the responsibility of the employees themselves.
A refrigerator containing all breakfast items is available in the staff dining room.
The guest breakfast buffet is reserved exclusively for hotel guests.
Lunch: according to the work schedule at 11:00 or 11:30 a.m.
Dinner: 5:00 or 5:30 p.m.
Please register on the staff meal list no later than the day before.
Without registration, the kitchen team cannot prepare a meal for you.
If you are away on your day off, you may pre-order a sandwich to take away.
Meal Costs
For employees staying at the hotel, the meal allowance (CHF 378.00 per month) is mandatory and will be charged monthly. Drinks (mineral water and soft drinks from large bottles, coffee and tea) are included in the meal allowance.
External employees may, if desired, purchase staff meals.
Employees not taking meals are not permitted to help themselves to hotel food. This expressly also applies to leftovers from buffets, guest platters or similar offers. In such cases, employees must organize their own meals.
For external employees, a flat-rate deduction of CHF 3.00 per working day (CHF 63.00 per month) will be charged for beverages. This includes coffee, tea, water and soft drinks in the staff area.
Alcoholic beverages may only be purchased after work at the official points of sale. Employees receive a 30% discount.
ALCOHOL DURING WORKING HOURS IS NOT PERMITTED.
Consideration in Staff Areas
Noise Control
Please avoid loud conversations, slamming doors or playing music in the staff rooms, especially in the evenings and at night.
Keep windows closed if noise could disturb others outside.
Guest Satisfaction
Complaints from guests about noise or inappropriate behaviour may lead to consequences.
Your consideration contributes significantly to a positive atmosphere.
Energy Consumption
Please use energy responsibly.
Turn off lights and devices when not in use.
Do not leave water running and make sure windows are not left open unnecessarily to avoid energy waste and, in winter, frost damage.
